Art in a tradition

Everybody knows the story connecting rosolio to warm Southern Italy.

“Ros solis” – meaning in Latin “sun dew” – is the liqueur that was originally born in the convents, where the nuns macerated the rose petals in the ethyl alcohol in order to obtain a drink with an intense but delicate aroma.

At first, rosolio was drunk as a digestive at dinner in the convents, by the pilgrims, within the noble courts, and its tradition started in the 17th century and was passed down through generations with its numerous flavours and variants until the present day.

The colour of each label represents a unique flavour that has been obtained through handcrafted processes. Maceration, infusion or decoction processes hold the best and tastiest part of every single raw material that has been carefully selected and used to create our products.
